This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW pulled a 2.9 cable rating, down from last week’s 3.1. The show’s first hour did a 2.94 and the second hour dropped down to a 2.92, meaning the lead-in show for Cyber Sunday dropped in viewership as it went on.
It has been reported that Johnny Devine requested his release from TNA, and it has been confirmed that TNA management has granted the request. Devine asked to be released from the company about a month ago, and he is now officially done with the company.
World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Lance Cade as of October 14, 2008. WWE wishes Lance the best in all future endeavors. Raw drew a 3.1 rating, which is up from last week’s 3.0 rating. The first hour drew a 2.99 rating, and the second hour 3.15 rating.
This past Friday’s Smackdown drew a 2.1 broadcast rating, which is up from last week’s 1.9 – it again drew the highest number on the network, although it is not great by WWE standards.
The 10/7 edition of ECW on Sci Fi drew a final 1.2 cable rating. This is the same rating the show drew last week. Is Matt Hardy’s reign going to be a short lived one? We’ll have to keep an eye on the ratings in the coming weeks.

WWE Smackdown drew a 1.9 rating for last Friday’s debut on MyNetwork television, according to a press release issued by WWE and the network. The press release touts that the show drew the largest rating in the history of MyNetworkTV.
