If you haven’t paid your taxes by now you should seriously think about getting off the couch and filing and extension. When this time of year rolls around and people have procrastinated this long, I seriously wonder what else they put off. I expect to hear something like; “I really should get around to that heart transplant”. “Maybe I’ll put gas in the car next week because pushing it around is getting tough”. “I should probably take my hand off this hot stove at some point”. Do these examples sound silly to you? Well not paying your taxes on time sounds silly to me. Hey I’m not telling you what you should do but don’t come running to me when the IRS takes your ipod and you can’t listen to any podcasts!
