Lions Win 19-14! End Losing Skid!

0

The Detroit Lions were finally able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. To say the Lions have been on a losing skid is like saying the Yankees spend a little bit of money on their roster!

The Lions won for the first time since Dec. 23, 2007, snapping their 19-game losing streak and avoiding becoming only the second team in NFL history to lose at least 20 straight games.

The Lions are a franchise synonymous with losing. It cannot be stressed enough that it’s hard to turn losers into winners especially when you are talking about a team that hasn’t won in almost two years.

Mello Betts and Hank Davis both pegged Washington to beat the Lions this Sunday and both were wrong.

Despite saying that they wouldn’t let the Lions sneak up on them the Washington Redskins looked unprepared. In closing let me pose one question; how bad are the Washington Redskins?

Do you think the Lions have turned the corner or was this their only chance to snatch a win?
