Raw rating

Tuesday, November 4th, 2008

The 3 hour Raw special drew a 3.0 cable rating. The first hour drew a 2.7, the second hour drew a 3.2 and hour three scored a 3.3. I’m sure Vince is just all warm and fuzzy after this latest failure to capture an audience. I’m sure hot shotting the belt is going to help…. RIGHT!

Smackdown continues downward spiral

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Last week’s edition of SmackDown drew a 2.1 rating in the fast nationals. I’m guessing that’s why they had HHH vs The Undertaker; just to see if anybody is watching! Now I wonder how they feel about switching networks?

Raw rating

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

This week’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW drew a 2.9 cable rating, which is the same rating the show drew last week. The first hour drew a 2.83 rating and the second hour drew a 2.95 rating with an average of 4,129,000 viewers.

This is yet another disappointing number for WWE. RAW had been in the 3.1 range in previous weeks and the dip below the 3.0 mark has to be alarming for the company.

ECW rating

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

ECW on Sci-Fi broadcast drew a 1.2 cable rating. Let’s see; get Matt Hardy a belt that fits, quit wasting too much time one Miz and Morrison standing in the ring trying out their new comedy routine and lastly get some talent on the show! These suggestions could help improve ECW; or Vince can just pull the plug on the show.

Karen Angle is now available

Monday, October 27th, 2008

It’s being reported that the divorce between Kurt and Karen Angle is now final. The Pittsburgh-Post Gazette issued a divorce notice in their paper last week, and Karen appeared on The Bubba The Love Sponge show and spoke out about the divorce being final. She claimed all issues between her and Kurt have been settled. Although Karen’s profile and photos still appear on TNA’s website, it should be noted that the company has no plans to bring her back.

I would have to bet there is something more to this situation than we know about right now. We’ll have to wait and see what information comes to light over the next several days.
